When Alana and Johnny told me their plans about having a private vow renewal on an island in Georgian Bay, Ontario, I immediately said yes and – being a destination Canada wedding photographer – I booked my flights to Toronto the very same day!

After months of waiting, when I finally arrived to the island, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was in awe of the breathtaking backdrop that this location provided for this special occasion. The clear blue waters of the bay, the rugged rocks along the shore, and the lush greenery all around – truly a photographer’s dream!

The early morning light was soft and hazy. While Alana and Johnny got ready, I took a few minutes to walk around and find the best locations for the photos.
The bride’s chic and elegant dress paired perfectly with the rugged beauty of the lakeside setting, and the groom’s suit added a touch of sophistication to the rustic surroundings.
Alana and Johnny’s private vows were heartfelt and emotional – it was a true rollercoaster between loud laughs, gentle smiles and happy tears. Not only was the location of this session absolutely stunning, but the love between Alana and Johnny was equally beautiful. The chemistry between these two was palpable, even hypnotizing to witness. It was truly my honour to document a snippet of their love story, giving them tangible memories to look back on for years to come.
